The Communications/Operations Officer position reports directly to the Executive Director (ED). The Comm/Ops officer is responsible for managing the organization’s communications strategy and staff work calendars, overseeing budgets and the donor database, preparation for Board meetings, and general support to the Executive Director and program teams. This position requires technical expertise, flexibility, and an interest in refining creative communication and operational skills in a mission-driven organizational environment. The position will start as part-time with the possibility to grow into a full-time position. Experience with Microsoft Word, Salesforce, QuickBooks and basic web development is an advantage.
– Bachelor’s Degree
– 3+ year experience, including demonstrated experience in nonprofit and financial administration
– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and G Suite
– Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
– Tech-savvy self-starter with a keen eye for detail
