CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 2026 Experiential Peacebuilding Fellowships

The Experiential Peacebuilding Fellowship is a 12-month engagement with the Outward Bound Center for Peacebuilding (OBCP). The fellowship includes the opportunity to participate in the planning, delivery and evaluation of OBCP’s training programs and workshops, as well as work projects that align with each individual fellows’ interests and experience.

This fellowship is remote throughout the course of the year and does not have any geographic restrictions. Travel to and from the fellow’s home to relevant OBCP programs and courses will be provided as needed.

This fellowship is designed to be completed alongside each fellow’s existing work or school commitments. It is not intended to provide full-time employment or to conflict with existing work, volunteer or educational pursuits.

Each fellow will receive compensation for 10 days of work as an OBCP Facilitator ($250 USD per day) during the course of the fellowship. Days may be scheduled at any time over the year, and can be planned as individual days or in consecutive series depending on the individual fellow’s schedule and needs.

Each fellow will also receive all travel and accommodation costs for their participation in OBCP programs during the year, and reimbursement for any personal expenses and materials (with prior approval).

At the conclusion of the fellowship, participants may be considered for future opportunities to facilitate OBCP programs or courses as independent contractors. It is not a commitment or requirement for part-time or full-time employment with OBCP.
