News from Outward Bound Peacebuilding – September 2019

Dear Friends:

How did you spend the International Day of Peace on Saturday?

In true Outward Bound style, for us it was a day for action and reflection – action in support of many great organizations dedicated to peace, and reflection on the long list of remarkable people who have been a part of the Outward Bound Peacebuilding journey. Our community never ceases to challenge and inspire!

I am delighted to share some news from OBCP – please join me in welcoming Flavio Bollag as the new Executive Director of Outward Bound Peacebuilding! Many of you have known Flavio as a part of the OB Peacebuilding team since 2015. He has a deep commitment to Outward Bound and experiential peacebuilding.  I will continue as a senior consultant and trainer to support the transition and launch of the book.

What book you may ask? We are awaiting the publication of the book Experiential Peacebuilding, co-edited by me and Flavio, which will be available on Amazon shortly.

We are so grateful to all our supporters, contributors and collaborators for helping us to make this crazy idea a reality. We look forward to sharing the book and our future training projects and collaborations with you.

It has been the great honor and challenge of my professional life to serve this organization. I look forward to supporting the mission of experiential peacebuilding and the Outward Bound community in anyway possible. I am deeply grateful for the experience and learning.

I remain available at: ana.patel@outwardboundpeace.org

Flavio can be reached at: flavio@outwardboundpeace.org

With HUGE gratitude,

Ana

Please note we will be toasting our new book in a series of events over the coming months. For those in the New York area, please plan to join us in the evening of Wednesday, November 6 at the offices of Duane Morris in midtown. Invitations to follow.
