A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended and supported our event at Scandinavia House on May 1st!
Our first ever Benefit Dinner gathered over 100 friends and supporters and together we celebrated the power of the Outward Bound experience to challenge and inspire a new generation of leaders to work together toward peace.
Much appreciation to honored guests, Michael Schwamm, Michal Alter, and William Ury, our host committee, and to all of our guests for their engagement.
In April, we returned to the cloud forest in Ixtlan de Juarez, Mexico to deliver our 2nd Experiential Peacebuilding Training to 10 peacebuilders from across Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia who are working on the frontlines of violence and conflict in their communities. You can read about our experience and reflections on our blog.
This year, we will also deliver the Peace Matters Expedition, an Interfaith dialogue expedition for college-aged students in the USA. We remained committed to sustaining the alumni network from our seven-year program with Palestinians and Israelis. We also welcome a new partner in the Middle East, EcoPeace, a environmental peacebuilding organization that brings together Jordanians, Palestinians, and Israelis. Your investment in peacebuilders working in their local communities is crucial – would you consider a gift today?
