What are some of our alums up to?
PEP 2013 alums Christine Turabamariya and Cadeau Assoumani met with Outward Bound International (OBI) Board member Peter Britton and former OBI Executive Director Ian Wade at their organization, Frontiers Adventures Great Lakes, in Rwanda where they and their staff engaged in a ropes course training.
PEP 2013 alum Katie Jones wrote Personal Reentry Guide and Journal, a reentry guide for former inmates.
Women Leaders Program alum Yara Asad helped to launch the Jerusalem Arbitration Center, a joint enterprise by ICC Israel and ICC Palestine for the resolution of Palestinian-Israeli business-related disputes.
Emerging Leaders Program alum Aviv Wasserman has been elected Deputy Mayor of Lod and is now in charge of partnerships with the private sector, creating regional centers, public participation, and running the city at times of emergencies.
Our 3rd Practicum on Experiential Peacebuilding will take place in Costa Rica in partnership with Costa Rica Outward Bound from January 3-12, 2014. We will be announcing the details of our June 2014 PEP in January. Stay tuned!
